This is the glove system that I use on cold days. I learned it from a post that Clare Egan made. I can't find her original post, so I recreated it below. You may not be ready to cut a hole in your favorite pair of gloves, but if you do, you know you are a biathlete!
1. Cut the finger tip off of a glove liner.
2. Glue a toe warmer to the back of the glove liner. Toe warmers have adhesive, so they stay in place better than hand warmers.
3. Cut a hole in the finger of your warm glove.
